The MyLife Email account is a premium email account for the students of the University of South Africa. The email is accessible through UniSA’s MyLife portal.

What Is MyLife Email?
The MyLife Email is a Premium Microsoft email account that every student of UniSA gets after admission. Since this is a Microsoft Premium account, it supports so many Premium Microsoft features including Office 365.
This email serves as the main communication medium between the students and the university. From the University’s perspective, if you are communicating through this email then it means you are one of their own.
The University also sends announcements and notifications through this email so it is very important for every student to have access.
The account is a Microsoft account so it is accessible on any network no matter the location.
How To Activate
As a new student, you must activate your account before you can use the email. The activation is a very simple but tricky procedure.
To activate you must first claim your log-ins on the My UniSA portal before you can get access. I have outlined the entire process in my earlier article about My UniSA Guide. Kindly follow the activation process in the guide to claim your account.
After claiming the account you can now use the email address you will get to log into MyLife along with the password.
Note that it could take between 24 hours for your email account to get created. So if there is nothing happening after claiming your account, exercise a little patience.
How To Log Into MyLife Email
The login can be done in two different ways.
You can simply go to the MyUnisa login page and click on MyLife to log in or you can follow the procedure below.
- The best way to log in is to go to https://mylife.unisa.ac.za
- This will open the Microsoft Login page. enter your full email address and hit the “Next” button.
- Now enter your My Unisa password and you should successfully log in.
Do this Incase your password doesn’t work on MyLife or Office365.
- Log into MyUnisa account
- Go to the “My Admin” tab
- Click on “Change Password“
- Fill the form with your correct information.
Your password should be changed successfully.
Note that it could take approximately 30 minutes for your password to fully synchronize. You should also know that changing your password automatically changes your password for both MyUnisa and MyLife.
