UniSA Telegram Groups are created for every Module you register. These groups allow you to host discussions and know what other course members are up to.
In this article, I will teach you how to search for and join groups on Telegram.
How To Join UniSA Telegram Groups
There are so many ways you can join UniSA groups. There are lots of groups you must join as well.
For every module, you must join a group and the group you will join is specifically for that particular module. There are other University of south Africa service groups you must join to get help as well.
- To search the groups, you must type this URL into the browser >> https://unisa-groups.co.za/
- When the page opens, enter your Module or Group Name and click on the Search button.
- Click on the Telegram link for the particular group to join.
If the process above is too complicated for you, simply use the @UniSAGroupsBot to search for all channels and groups.
- If you want to use the @UniSAGroupsBot, then simply click on the link
- For general information, just type “/start” and the bot will show you the information.
- Typing “/help” will reply with a help message on all the key commands you must know when using the bot.
- If you want to search your group using the bot, type “/search XXXXXX” where XXXXXX represents your Module name or code.
- When the bot replies with the link, simply click on the link to join the group.

- Study Materials Group
This group helps you to exchange and share study materials with other students.
- Student’s Lounge
This group gives you the opportunity to chat with other students regardless of location or course. The group is not topic-specific so you can voice anything.
